Poetry

Natural Man

I am an element of time
whereby the clock strikes when I speak

It’s all new, fluid
strange, I cry

Broiling to a carbon
black vapor

Here is where the heart beats
what we call chamber music

Today was harder than yesterday
and soon seems so impossible

Colors accentuate eyes
within a void

Let’s try, please, to do this
I am married to this endeavor

To open my eyes,
hurts, a new journey

There are many natural
things that I love

Take me away,
Bright lights flash

Afterlife

Ice cold eyes
neon bar lights
depressed aura
Ice cold brew

-smirk-

Ice cold feeling
Ice cold heart
leaving him
Ice cold night

cigarette smoldering
shattered complexion
inhaling deep
Ice cold thoughts

-smirk-

Ice cold feeling
Ice cold woman
awaiting death
Ice cold night

alone again
she never cared
gold-digger!
Ice cold soul

-smirk-

Ice cold feeling
Ice cold past
hating romance
Ice cold night

staggering outside
cigarette glowing
oncoming traffic
Ice cold man

-smirk-

discover ways to serve

hide in the rising darkness

find the other

hide truth

saving sOuls

White
White as a mid-December storm.
White as the feeling of comfortable solitude.
White as clear air as it floats through a breeze,
White as the pureness of the world as it grows.
White as a fairy's fluttering wings as she floats,
White as a blooming hydrangea in the depths of winter.
White as the sight of lightning cracking through the night.
White as a melting snowman at the start of spring.
White as a dreamy thought lingering in the mind.
White as a unicorn trotting through the grass.
White as a snowflake hanging from a limb.
White as a bride dress on a wedding day.
White as passing clouds in a gentle sky.
White as a moon glowing in the dark.
White as ocean spray upon a shore.
White as a star guiding your way.
White as a saint throughout time.
White as a lie to tell a truth.
White is good intentions.
